Oregon Care Home Council

Supporting the Adult Care Home Industry

Dedicated to enhancing the quality of Adult Care Home Services through representation, education and collaboration

Making a diference

All Care Home providers with a Medicaid contract who live in their AFH are represented by SEIU Local 503 by default, even if they are not a dues-paying members of the Union.

If you are an AFH provider represented by SEIU Local 503, please sign your Showing of Interest card today to allow all AFH providers the opportunity to choose better Union representation.

Signing a card will allow the Oregon Care Home Council to appear on the ballot in a Union representation election against SEIU Local 503. Signing a card does not create any obligation on your part.

Cards may only be accepted from AFH providers who are medicaid providers.

Multiple hands are connecting white puzzle pieces together.

The Adult Care Home industry plays a vital role in providing high-quality, personalized care to vulnerable individuals, yet providers often face challenges due to regulatory complexities and a lack of clear communication with licensing authorities. The Oregon Adult Care Home Council was established to serve as a unified voice for providers, lobbying for their rights, ensuring fair representation, and fostering collaboration between care homes and regulatory agencies. By smoothening the communication between licensing departments and providers, the council works to improve transparency, streamline compliance processes, and promote policies that support sustainable, high-quality care. Through education, advocacy, and direct support, the council empowers providers to navigate industry challenges while maintaining their commitment to exceptional care for those they serve.
